Panel Discussion I: Teaching for Tomorrow — What Should We Keep, Drop, and Add?
Time: 09:25 am - 10:10 am

The panel will explore how teaching must evolve in the age of artificial intelligence while preserving its human essence. Discussions will focus on nurturing critical thinking, creativity and emotional intelligence skills that AI cannot replace. Panellists will address the need to move beyond rote learning and uniform instruction toward personalized pathways. They will also highlight the importance of integrating digital literacy, ethical awareness and adaptability, empowering students to use AI for innovation. Central to the dialogue is the teacher’s evolving role as a facilitator of inquiry and purposeful learning.

Panel Discussion II: The Future-Ready Student: Shared Vision or Shared Confusion?
Time: 03:15 pm - 04:00 pm

In an era defined by rapid change, Pakistan’s education sector faces a pressing question: are we collectively preparing students for the future, or are fragmented visions creating more confusion than clarity? This discussion will unpack what it truly means to be “future-ready” within our national context, exploring whether policies, curricula and classroom realities align to develop adaptable, ethical and critical thinkers. The panel brings together voices from schools, publishing, higher education and public policy to debate how coherence can replace confusion. It will explore how stakeholders can move from rhetoric to collaboration, ensuring that every learner gains the mindset and competencies to thrive in an evolving world.
